This week's
Sepia Saturday theme is aprons, and (now that the purists have been satisfied with the above 1947 Thanksgiving at my grandparents' house, replete with proper apron) given my deep knowledge of warehousing, I hereby offer these studies of, well, aprons -- the concrete area where trucks maneuver up to a loading dock.
And for your vintage listening pleasure, a barely relevant song about aprons. Or their strings at least.
I must be a purist. Loved the dinner photo, complete with apron.
ReplyDeleteCarving the bird sitting down? There's a brave man. He should let the apron wearer take over.
ReplyDeleteGood call on the trucking aprons...nice twist!
ReplyDeleteI love the Thanksgiving photo and the apron in that picture.
ReplyDelete'Proper apron' perfect! Love the Apron Strings. Thanks for including that.

Now that is what I would call a proper apron too - nicely posed picture.
ReplyDeleteThe man carving turkey doesn't look like he has the room to stand up if he wanted to. Nice take on aprons.
ReplyDeleteThat first picture really is a proper apron, and I am glad to see that you have widened your interpretation of the theme as well.
ReplyDeleteNothing like stretching a theme...good job on that!
