A sampling of some drawings my father (who, I might add, would have turned 101 tomorrow) made for his high school botany class in 1937.
I love them simply as design. His wonderful art deco lettering is a fine touch too.
Great Scott! I was a botany major, and may I say that I didn't have to look at the labels to know what these were. Still discovering things about Nelson. I'd recognize that Nelson-font anywhere, but the drawings! Beautiful!
Beautiful! I especially like the barberry leaf because it reminds me of a bird.
