Signage of a Seaside Town

A few scenes from impoverished Grays Harbor County, Washington State. I've been going there on and off for forty-plus years, and little has changed, although the recession has clearly hurt a lot.

  1. Is there anything more than signs of lost hope and neglect, to move the visitor to these towns?

    Nice post.

  2. Hi Martin,
Well, you certainly get a respite from the hustle and bustle of Seattle. :)

There is ocean fishing, clamming and crabbing, and a plethora of beaches. You can tour the Ocean Spray cranberry company. It's not Blackpool, though!
